How to Install Hope Control on Windows 10 and 11

Learn how to download and install Hope Control on your presentation PC, ensuring complete compatibility with your multi-display setup and graphics cards.

1. System Requirements

Before starting the installation, verify that your computer meets these minimum specifications:

• Windows 10 or 11 (64-bit edition).

• Dual Core processor or higher with 4 GB RAM (8 GB recommended for video loops).

• At least 500 MB of available hard drive storage for program files.

• Dedicated primary operator display plus a secondary display output connected to your sanctuary projector or LED video processor.

2. Running the Installer

Download the official installer directly from the downloads page (hopectrl.com/en/download).

Double-click the downloaded file. If Windows Defender displays SmartScreen, click "More info" and select "Run anyway". Hope Control is authentic and safe.

Follow the on-screen prompts and accept the standard installation path. A desktop shortcut will be created automatically.

3. First Launch & Screen Setup

Upon first launch, Hope Control automatically detects all connected video displays.

If your sanctuary projector is plugged into HDMI or DisplayPort and configured in Windows to "Extend these displays", Hope Control assigns the Live Output directly to that screen.

Tip: Press Windows Key + P and always select "Extend" so your operator desktop is never mirrored on the church sanctuary screens.
